Dole is giving ranch dressing fans a unique new way to enjoy the great ranch taste and texture they love. The produce and salad leader is launching the DOLE® Country Ranch Salad Kit, an extension of its popular Premium Salad Kits that combines indulgent new ingredients and craveable toppings with the overwhelming public demand for ranch dressing.
As the top salad dressing in the U.S.,[1] ranch dressing is twice as popular as second-place blue cheese and easily outperforms Italian, Thousand Island, honey mustard and other classics.[2] But with that #1 ranking comes the realization that salad enthusiasts often have to sacrifice originality and unique ingredients for the great ranch taste they love. The exclusive new recipe blends savory cornbread croutons and artisan-cut white cheddar cheese with nutrition provided by crisp Romaine lettuce, crunchy carrots, red cabbage and roasted sunflower seeds, and then tops it with Dole’s Country Ranch Dressing made with real buttermilk. The kit will start shipping to retailers nationwide on June 14, 2016, with nationwide retail availability expected by August 2016, for the SRP (suggested retail price) of $3.99.

The new kit is a good source of Vitamin C and manganese, and an excellent source of folate, Vitamins A and K. Arias said it received high marks during extensive taste tests with salad and salad kit lovers, who said they preferred Dole’s Country Ranch Dressing made with real buttermilk to sour cream-based and other ranch dressing options.
