Nightly Food and Entertainment Activities for Foodie Couples
Mexico’s adults-only Casa Velas reintroduces its complimentary dinners with the chef as a part of its new schedule of rotating dining offerings and entertainment activities for couples. Each Tuesday, Executive Chef Eliseo Ibarra (@ChefEliseo) specially prepares an intimate dinner for 18 guests poolside or in the resort’s botanical garden. The private dinner features a different menu each week with corresponding wine pairings. A sampling of specialty menu items includes artichoke hearts stuffed with shrimp and a citrus arugula vinaigrette; beef consommé clarified with veal sweetbreads, flan and vegetables; huachinango loin with asparagus puree and vegetables with crustaceans sauce with a touch of anise perfume; and forest fruits Tiramisu served in a vanilla Grand Marnier sauce and goat cheese sorbet.
Dinner with the chef is just one of the interactive food and beverage tastings and entertainment activities for guests of the hotel each night. Every evening at six in the main lobby and Ocean Club are hosted activities for guests to participate in, creating a unique and ever changing experience for couples.
