Daniel Lindley Announces 5th & Taylor Restaurant in Nashville

Daniel Lindley Announces 5th & Taylor Restaurant in NashvilleChattanooga-based chef and restaurateur Daniel Lindley announces his first Nashville, Tenn., restaurant at the Flats at Taylor Place scheduled to open this fall. Located in historic Germantown, 5th & Taylor will be serving dinner daily, featuring a regional and seasonally focused American menu. Inspired by Lindley’s culinary background and creative endeavors, 5th & Taylor will have an eclectic atmosphere in a 96-year-old barrel roof warehouse, formerly part of an old textile bag plant and cotton mill.

“I’ve spent a good amount of time in Nashville over the years and consider it an extension of home” said Lindley. “I’m excited to bring this unique restaurant to Nashville’s expanding market. It’s my hope that 5th & Taylor will complement the amazing restaurants in Germantown and maintain the relaxed vibe of the neighborhood.”

Since 2013, Lindley has been sketching the renderings for the interior and exterior of the restaurant. Partnering with interior designer, Ruth De Jong, an L.A. based production designer, painter and interior decorator for notable restaurants like Son of a Gun, the space will incorporate many artistic elements. Architect Smith Gee and SWH Residential Partners will execute plans for the 6,200 square foot interior that will include a main dining room, two private dining areas and an outdoor patio and bar, adding an additional 2,500 square feet to the warehouse space. The private dining accommodations will be equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment for business meetings, presentations and social gatherings. Overall, indoor and outdoor seating will accommodate 250 guests.Daniel Lindley Announces 5th & Taylor Restaurant in Nashville
