For the first time in their 24-year history, Addison-based Fish City Grill and Half Shells has added a CFO. Founder Bill Bayne announced Paul Acker as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer.

Paul Acker comes to Fish City Grill from Snappy Salads, where he also served as CFO. Acker was also CFO for Waterloo Restaurant Ventures, Inc. Waterloo was the chief franchisee for Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
“Paul has a unique background in both company and franchisee growth, and we’re thrilled to have him join our leadership team,” notes Bayne.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA) and Southern Methodist University (MBA), Paul Acker is also a Naval veteran who has strong volunteer experience with United Way and Habitat for Humanity.
Fish City Grill and Half Shells are growing in a time of great financial success, with sustained same store sales growth each of the last ten years, and the planned opening of at least 2-3 new units annually.
