Constellation Culinary Group is proud to announce an exciting hospitality partnership with The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and its 28,000 sq. ft. Morganroth Event Center on the Larry and Mary Greenspon Family Campus for Jewish Life, opening in summer 2023. The celebrated food and beverage operator will serve as the exclusive caterer for the expansive space, which is located on a scenic 32-acre campus in Sarasota, Florida.

Notable features of this exciting new facility is the expansive lobby, which will provide space for pre- or post-event receptions for as many as 300 participants and a 10,000-sq. ft. ballroom, which will accommodate up to 1,000 participants. Additional spaces include meeting rooms that can be configured into separate spaces able to accommodate groups of various sizes. The multi use complex will also have expansive parking facilities with enough spaces to accommodate large groups visiting the center for events, with 300+ parking spaces.
Constellation Culinary Group will curate all chef-driven menus for the center’s internal events as well as external events/facility rentals in the onsite 3,000 sq. ft. kosher-style kitchen, offering the same innovative culinary practices that the brand is known for in regional markets across the country. Constellation Culinary Group has an impressive reputation for execution at the highest level, offering top-tier service for group functions both large and small.
“We are proud to partner with Constellation Culinary Group to provide the community with a beautiful new event space that can provide for small and large gatherings alike. Our site is unique in terms of its size and flexibility. Combined with Constellation’s exceptional food and stellar reputation, we are confident that we can offer our community a top-notch venue for organizational programs, family and life cycle events, galas and business meetings and conferences,” said Larry Haspel, chair of the federation’s event center committee.
The new collaboration expands Constellation Culinary Group’s growing presence in Florida. Constellation entered the Sarasota market in December 2019 with the opening of the Sarasota Art Museum where it continues to serve as the exclusive catering partner and restaurant operator. In addition to Sarasota, the brand leads all catering and event operations for cultural institutions throughout South Florida, including the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, and the Norton Museum of Art. Constellation Culinary Group also operates onsite restaurants within these prestigious institutions.
Chef Kaytlin Dangaran, a culinary maven who leads all food and beverage efforts at the Sarasota Art museum, will work closely with the team at the Federation to create innovative menus for group functions and community activities. Trained at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan, chef Dangaran draws inspiration from her diverse culinary experience and background to create menus centered around fresh, local ingredients. Having led restaurants within cultural institutions, she plans to create flavorful and visually appealing meals for the new facility by collaborating with local farmers in southwest Florida.
Nicole Hernandez, Constellation Culinary Group’s regional director of sales, will spearhead all pre-opening sales efforts for the facility. In addition, Hernandez is a true special events professional. Her food and beverage knowledge is unmatched after years of menu development and event production. Her expertise in venue openings will be an asset to her work with the Federation’s team to create a strong anchor for Jewish life and engagement within the campus.
“It’s such an honor to collaborate with the Jewish Federation, which has led the way in building a warm and welcoming community for Jewish residents of Sarasota-Manatee for more than 60 years,” said Adelee Cabrera, VP of operations at Constellation Culinary Group. “We are thrilled to expand the organization’s legacy by creating unforgettable culinary experiences for the new state-of-the-art facility, which is slated to become another of the region’s premier venues for weddings, social engagements, meetings and community events.”
