Coconutz Chicago Launches Spring and Summer Menus
New Food, Beverage, Daily Specials, and Live Entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays
Spring is in their air, and Chicago is ready for summer. Come aboard Coconutz Chicago http://www.coconutzchicago.com/ as they set sail with a new spring and summer food and beverage menu, now on deck. Chef Sean Welker is at the helm along with his first mates, sommeliers and cocktail enthusiasts General Manager Joshua King and Beverage Director Brendan Smith.
Chef Welker has created playful, island-inspired dishes utilizing fresh ingredients where everything is made from scratch. The smaller, more approachable menu features Noodle and Rice bowls, Tacos, Sliders, and a variety of chips and dips, all made in-house daily. King and Smith have fashioned a list of cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, with juices squeezed fresh daily and house made syrups.

Salsa – choice of roasted tomato salsa or spicy salsa verde – 4
Guacamole – avocado, lime, cilantro, onion, jalapeño, radish – 6
Pimento Cheese – cheddar, cream cheese, roasted peppers, sriracha – 6

16-Hour Beef Brisket – adobo, sweet miso slaw, pickled jalapeño
Jerk Chicken – three-color slaw, citrus crema
Cola-Braised Pork – sweet soy-sesame sauce, roasted pineapple, pickled red onion, napa cabbage
Tacos – 4 each or 3 for 11
Garlic-Citrus Shrimp – three-color slaw, miso vinaigrette, avocado
Hot & Sweet Carrot – roasted chickpeas, pickled red onion, red cabbage, verde crema (v)
Cola-Braised Pork – arugula, radish, roasted tomato salsa, chili-roasted seeds
16-Hour Beef Brisket – adobo crema, pickled jalapeño, raw slaw, crispy shallots
Noodles and Rice:
Caribbean Green Rice – quick-fried jasmine rice, garlic, ginger, cilantro, lime, scallion – 11
Korean Style Mixed Rice – fresh and pickled veg, cho jang sauce, 5-minute egg – 12
Daily Stir Fried Noodles – egg noodles stir-fried with a vegetables and sauce – 11

La Galina – rye, brandy, cherry liqueur, apple/honey syrup, lemon – 11
South Beach – vodka, st. germaine, pomegranate, lemon, agave – 11
Mai Tai, Your Tai – chairman’s reserve rum, house-infused rum, orgeat, pineapple, grapefruit cordial – 10
Yo-Ho-Mojito – denizen 3-year rum, mint, cilantro, basil, lime, soda – 10
Garden Margarita – house-infused tequila, pineapple, orange, lime, agave – 10
Pain Killer – pusser’s rum, pineapple, orange, coconut, nutmeg – 10
Twelve new Frozen Signature cocktails such as classic and flavored Pina Coladas, Daiquiris, Margaritas, and Lemonades, are all ice-cold and perfect for an island getaway on the Gold Coast of Chicago, along with House Punches and flavorful, balanced Sangrias. For the Beer lover, there are seven on draft including Corona, Tocayo Hominy, Kona “Big Wave”, Pacifico, Stella Artois, Laguintas and a rotating Goose Island with many more in bottles and cans.
