CATCH HOSPITALITY GROUP OPENS CATCH MIAMI BEACH

The powerhouse team behind Catch Hospitality Group (CHG), Tilman J. Fertitta, Mark Birnbaum, and Eugene Remm, are thrilled to announce the official opening of CATCH Miami Beach, in the illustrious South of Fifth neighborhood, on May 10, 2024. The anticipated opening will mark the seventh outpost of the highly acclaimed brand, with locations in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Aspen, and recently announced developments in Dallas and Scottsdale.

“After receiving such a warm reception following the launch of Mastro’s Ocean Club in Downtown Miami earlier this year, I couldn’t be more excited to expand our footprint within Miami’s thriving hospitality scene, and bring the signature CATCH experience to the esteemed South of Fifth neighborhood,” said Tilman Fertitta, Catch Hospitality Group partner. “This city’s ever-evolving culinary landscape is truly something special, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

The globally-influenced seafood restaurant, CATCH Miami Beach, is located alongside some of Miami’s premier waterfront real estate, situated near some of the city’s highly-coveted and highest-grossing restaurants, including Prime One Twelve, CARBONE, Joe’s Stone Crab, and Milos.

Much like its New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen counterparts, the expansive 23,000 sq ft restaurant is divided evenly between indoor dining and an open-air rooftop terrace and has been designed by Rockwell Group, the famed interdisciplinary design team behind CATCH Las Vegas and CATCH Steak in New York City, Los Angeles, and Aspen. With this location, Rockwell Group took the energy and excitement of the original Los Angeles location, an open-air haven, and amplified it to create a fantastical, tropical escape. CATCH Miami Beach’s design celebrates the many elements of its vibrant surroundings from the neighborhood’s history as a golden playground in the 1920s to the city’s lush landscape and balmy nights and the iconic Floridian “Mediterranean Deco” architecture. Refined materials, such as bronze, antique mirror, bold marble, lacquer paints, venetian plaster and rich contrasting woods, are intricately layered with lush florals and dramatic lighting inside a sumptuous conservatory-inspired atmosphere.

This Miami opening signifies our seventh CATCH restaurant nationwide, and it’s among one of our most anticipated debuts,” said Mark Birnbaum, Catch Hospitality Group partner. “Miami offers the perfect backdrop for our brand. Securing this incredible location has enabled us to deliver the quintessential high-energy dining experience we’re renowned for; and we’re eager to bring our unique blend of service, style, and cuisine to this vibrant community.”

Featuring modern renditions of classic dishes, CATCH’s streaming, shareable style of dining marries simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak with excellent service and a lively vibe. Offering an incredible Japanese sushi and Wagyu program, CATCH’s dedication to exceptional quality remains prevalent at CATCH Miami Beach with signature nigiri and sashimi platters, and cold dishes of crudos and ceviches, all featuring fish flown in directly from Japan’s Toyosu Market. Honored as one of the few restaurants fully licensed and certified to sell authentic True A5 Kobe, CATCH Miami Beach will offer its signature Wagyu Hot Rock dish –a tableside preparation of A5 Kobe Beef from the Hyogo Prefecture– as part of their top-tier Wagyu program.

Alongside locally-inspired dishes, the menu at CATCH Miami Beach will also offer many of the beloved CATCH classics the brand has become known for, including the CATCH Roll, Truffle Sashimi, Mushroom Spaghetti, and Cantonese Lobster. In addition to a la carte service, the restaurant will be available for private and semi-private events, offering the quintessential Miami Beach backdrop.

“We see distinct, extraordinary spaces as essential foundations for every CATCH establishment, and we’re confident that our vision for this 23,000-square-foot venue will significantly enhance the overall experience for our guests,” said Eugene Remm, one of three Catch Hospitality Group partners. “From the energetic atmosphere to our dedication to providing great food, great service, and a great vibe, we couldn’t be more excited to bring CATCH to this city, in a manner that captures the unmatched vibrancy of Miami Beach.”

CATCH Miami Beach is located at 200 South Pointe Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Opening hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM daily. For more information, visit www.catchrestaurants.com.
