Hood River Distillers, Inc., the largest and oldest importer, producer, bottler, and marketer of distilled spirits in the Northwest, is proud to announce that Broker’s® London Dry Gin is now ranked as the fastest growing gin brand in the United States.
The 2012 Liquor Handbook, one of the most comprehensive sources of information on U.S. spirits and sales trends, is responsible for ranking each spirit category and highlighting brands that have demonstrated notable growth. Broker’s London Dry Gin is at the top as a result of an increase in sales of 44% in 2011 from 2010.
“The gin category as a whole has remained fairly steady in recent years, but super premium brand sales have increased,” said Ronald Dodge, Hood River Distillers president and CEO. “Broker’s Gin’s classic taste has proven time and again that it can rival the biggest players in the category, and we are proud to offer consumers a gin with superior quality and an exceptional flavor at an affordable price.”
No stranger to accolades, Broker’s Gin has received upwards of 25 awards since its launch in 1998, including:
• Gold Medal & Best Buy, 92 Points, “Exceptional,” Chicago Beverage Testing Institute (2012)

About Broker’s® London Dry Gin
Broker’s® Gin is small batch, micro-distilled in the heart of England. Located near Birmingham, England, the distillery where Broker’s Gin is made is over 200-years-old and uses only traditional pot stills. The raw ingredients are quadruple-distilled pure grain spirit made from English wheat, and ten natural botanicals (herbs, spices and fruit). The botanicals are steeped for 24 hours in the pure grain spirit, which is then distilled for a fifth time.
A key icon for the brand is the bowler hat, a distinguishable characteristic of an English gentleman. The two charismatic founders, Martin and Andy Dawson, are true believers in the personality of Broker’s, and find that the British humor that accompanies their gin is essential to occasions in which gin is best enjoyed.
