–Three Winning Entries to attend 2018 Tales of the Cocktail in
New Orleans–
Brockmans Gin is once again inviting bars from the around the world to enter their best Brockmans Gin cocktail as part of a competition to find the best ‘Brocktail’ for World Gin Day, June 9, 2018. The winning bartenders, voted for by LDA+ bar patrons, will win a trip of a lifetime to the Tales of the Cocktail this summer.
Bartender entrants are invited to submit an original cocktail recipe, an image and the name of their ‘Brocktail’ in addition to their contact details via the entry form that will be available on www.brockmansgin.com. The contest opens on April 30th and closes at 7:00 pm on May 31st, 2018.
Members of the public (LDA+) will be invited to vote not just once, but as often as once per day for their favorite recipes through an interactive app accessed on the Brockmans website brockmansgin.com/worldginday.
During the voting period, consumer votes will be fed into an interactive leader board that can be viewed on the Brockmans blog, encouraging friendly competition between the bars. The Winner and two runners-up will be announced on June 9th, World Gin Day.
The creator of the winning cocktail and the two other top finalists, based on public votes, will each win a trip for two to the ultimate cocktail showcase, Tales of The Cocktail in New Orleans, which kicks off on July 17th. The prize includes air travel, three nights accommodations, two nights at Tales of the Cocktail and dinner with the Brockmans team.

Entry Terms and Conditions will be available on the Brockmans website beginning in mid-April. Entrants must be available to take their prize trip during the dates specified. No cash alternatives are available.
The 2017 winner of the Brockmans World Gin Day 2016 ‘Brocktails’ competition was Ginto the Wild by Sebastian Stanczyk of The Spiritualist in Glasgow, UK. In addition to the global winner, four U.S. based bartenders were awarded Honorable Mention as top vote getters in their respective markets. They include: The Ocha by Brett Henderson of The Poynt in Newburyport, MA, The Strawberry Letter 23 by Orion Berge of Gin Parlour in New York City, The Gin Lulu by Alberto Martinez of PIER 115 BAR AND GRILL in Edgewater, New Jersey and Sunshine on a Cloudy Day by Justin Morales of Blind Pig in Hartford, CT.
Entries were received from several countries in 2017 and this year Brockmans, which is sold in over 30 countries, is hoping that the competition will attract entries from even more countries around the globe.
