Gayle DeBrosse, Chief Brand Officer of Boudin Bakery, is pleased to announce that the company’s “Boudin SF” fast casual restaurants have introduced three new dishes featuring Wild Pacific Salmon. The new selections include Wild Pacific Salmon with Kale and Soba Noodles, Wild Pacific Salmon BLTA and Wild Pacific Salmon on Multigrain. They will be available at all Boudin SF locations throughout California beginning May 14.
Capitalizing on the trend of offering healthy options in fast casual dining, Boudin SF introduces Wild Pacific Salmon with Kale and Soba Noodles, which is perfect for lunch or dinner. The wild salmon is brushed with sweet Asian chili glaze, served on a bed of Tuscan kale, mixed greens and soba noodles, and garnished with juicy oranges, diced red peppers, cilantro and sesame-ginger vinaigrette. For the sandwich lover, Boudin SF offers the Wild Pacific Salmon BLTA – salmon and Applewood-smoked bacon on Boudin’s tangy, toasted sourdough with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and buttery avocado. Fans of Boudin’s multigrain bread will enjoyWild Pacific Salmon on Multigrain, spread generously with sundried tomato pesto and basil aioli, with roasted red peppers and thinly-sliced red onions. Boudin SF differentiates itself from other fast casual restaurants by offering hearty and diverse selections at dinner – along with beer and wine that often have ties to the local region.
“We are excited to serve these three wild Pacific salmon dishes in our Boudin SF restaurants throughout California,” said DeBrosse. “We are responding to our loyal guests’ desire to have healthy food prepared quickly, so we are delighted to offer wild pacific salmon, kale, fresh oranges and avocado. Strategically, it satisfies our guests’ craving for healthy, hearty dishes while still enjoying the convenience of fast casual dining. It’s an exciting trend.”
Boudin SF is the fast casual concept created by Boudin Bakery, which was founded in 1849, created The Original San Francisco Sourdough Bread, and remains San Francisco’s oldest continuously operating business. Although steeped in history, Boudin has maintained its success by staying at the forefront of dining trends.
Boudin Sourdough – which is one of a kind – is the foundation of the menu at Boudin SF. Baked in San Francisco since 1849, each loaf is made from a portion of the original sourdough starter. With its delicious tangy flavor, golden crunchy crust, and soft chewy center – and gloriously irresistible aroma – it has been described as “a sensory experience in a simple loaf of bread.”
Boudin SF dishes are made with seasonal, organic and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. For a quick breakfast, Boudin SF has everything from Vegetable Scrambles to Sourdough French Toast. Boudin SF’s Baguette Burger is a perennial contender for “best burger” honors, whether it’s the Blue Note Baguette Burger with Sonoma County Point Reyes blue cheese and caramelized onions on a toasted sourdough baguette or the Roasted Cremini Mushroom & Swiss Baguette Burger with roasted cremini mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese on a toasted multigrain baguette. The French Dip also brings together ingredients that were made for each other, with the tangy crusty sourdough enhancing the savory roast beef and au jus. For those who love comfort food, Boudin SF beckons with delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. Two favorites are Grilled Brie with Apples & Fig Jam on parmesan-crusted multigrain bread or Grilled Cheese with Fra’ Mani Ham on parmesan-crusted sliced sourdough.
For convenience, Boudin SF guests can order their favorite dishes using Boudin SF’s Web-to-Go service, an easy and convenient alternative to waiting in line, allowing customers to order lunch or dinner online through a simple three-step process. Guests can use this service by simply logging onto the Boudin Bakery Website: www.boudinwebtogo.com.
