Bar Tulio’s, a vibrant Mexican restaurant and neighborhood bar offering an innovative culinary menu in Wynwood slated to open on July 12, is thrilled to announce Daniel Valentin as its new General Manager. With an impressive background in the food and beverage industry, Daniel is set to bring his extensive experience and expertise to further elevate the lively restaurant and bar’s offerings.
“We are very excited to have Daniel join our team at Bar Tulio’s. His expertise will undoubtedly enhance Bar Tulio’s bustling atmosphere and contribute to its success in the Magic City,” said Brian Parenteau, co-owner of Bar Tulio’s.
Raised in New Jersey, Daniel’s passion for the industry led him to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he managed some of the most popular restaurants on the island. Notably, he started his journey at The Parrot Club, where he played a pivotal role in opening 10 unique concepts and garnered several prestigious awards. During this time, he had the privilege of working alongside renowned celebrity Chef Roberto Trevino, who has appeared on Iron Chef three times, battling prominent figures like Iron Chef Mario Batali on The Next Iron Chef and The Next Iron Chef Redemption.
Daniel’s remarkable journey continued at Budatai, where he served as the General Manager for five years. Budatai, along with Barril and Bar Gitano, all owned by Chef Roberto Trevino, became renowned for their excellence in various categories, including best brunch, most romantic atmosphere, and best business dinner restaurant.
In 2012, Daniel relocated to Miami, Florida, gaining further experience at well-known establishments such as Vida in the Fontainebleau Hotel and Red Fish Grill. His most recent role was at Vivo! Dolphin Mall, which is owned by the Cordish Companies, where he made significant contributions to the overall success of the establishment.
“It’s an honor to be a part of the team at Bar Tulio’s, especially during the Grand Opening. We have an excellent team with incredible management and we’re looking forward to welcoming the community to this lively new venture in Wynwood,” said Valentin.
