An award-winning chef plans to open a 5,800 square-foot commercial macaron business
Award-winning French chef and pastry expert Olivier Saintemarie is opening a new commercial kitchen in Orlando to supply theme parks, restaurants and other businesses around the country with delicious desserts. La Maison Du Macaron will produce macarons and other French pastries with locally sourced ingredients, using expertly developed and tested recipes. Business owners, event planners and other wholesale clients will be able to order the French desserts online.
The two-story, 5,800-square-foot bakery and commercial kitchen will be located on the corner of West Princeton Street and John Young Parkway. Construction is currently underway, and La Maison Du Macaron is expected to open and begin shipping orders in early 2024.

While the bakery will not be open to the public, customers can make appointments to come in for presentations and tours are available for the media.
“After years of developing and perfecting our macaron recipe, we’re excited to open La Maison Du Macaron so we can deliver delicious French pastries to customers everywhere,” Saintemarie said. “Orlando is our home, so it was a natural decision to open the bakery here. We look forward to serving the wonderful people of Central Florida and beyond.”
Trained in France, Saintemarie began working in Orlando in 2003 and has been recognized as one of the “Top 10 Pastry Chefs” by Dessert Professional Magazine. He also competed as a member of the award-winning 2019 U.S. Pastry Team at the Pastry World Cup in Lyon in 2019.
Orlando was recently named the “Best Foodie City in America” by WalletHub. Saintemarie has been bringing delectable French cuisine to Central Florida for years. This new venture will continue to bring culinary buzz to the region.
