Austin Convention Center, catering team, and Briggo launch first robotic Coffee Haus

A new, transformative solution now exists to meet the global demand for both specialty coffee and customizable, on-demand experiences. Those attending any event at Austin Convention Center will now be able to sip their favorite java at one of the most unique coffee experiences in the world. The venue and its hospitality team, Austin Convention Center Catering, have partnered with Austin-based Briggo to launch the first robotic, connected coffee experience inside a convention center.
“We’re excited about our partnership with the city and Austin Convention Center Catering and the opportunity to deliver a gourmet, connected coffee experience to Austin residents and visitors from all over the world.” said Briggo CEO Kevin Nater. “Coming off the heels of an amazing launch inside Austin’s Airport this summer, we’re thrilled to join this world-class facility to offer a truly local coffee experience. Austinites, event exhibitors, and visitors will now have the opportunity to enjoy their fully customized, gourmet coffees right in the heart of downtown Austin.”
Briggo’s robotic Coffee Haus serves up hot and iced coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, chai, hot chocolate and other favorites using gourmet whole-beans, fresh dairy and syrups as of September 10.

The Briggo Coffee Haus delivers a unique experience guests will remember long after their visit, staying true to the Austin Convention Center’s central mission of providing outstanding facilities and customer service so our guests can have a positive experience.”
The new Coffee Haus will serve guests inside the north entrance of the Convention Center, across from the Hilton Austin during all public and private events. Guests can either order ahead using Briggo’s mobile app or customize in-person at the Coffee Haus to brew their favorite beverage using Briggo’s own whole-bean Latin American blend. Briggo blend and new brewers installed by Austin Convention Center Catering will also bring a local flavor to catered coffee service for all small and private events throughout the facility.

Briggo was recently named one of Austin’s Best Places to Work by Austin Business Journal, and their Convention Center location is the next in their growing network of Coffee Hauses – marking their fourth opening since SXSW in March of 2018. In addition to their new Coffee Haus at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Briggo currently also operates inside three global tech firms, including two Coffee Hauses stationed in separate buildings at Dell’s Round Rock headquarters. The company plans to continue expanding their network of Coffee Hauses into airports, convention centers, universities, hospitals and additional locations where 24/7, on-demand specialty coffee is in high demand.
