ATLAS RESTAURANT GROUP ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHEF AND GENERAL MANAGER AT HIGHLY ANTICIPATED AND SOON-TO-OPEN LOCH BAR

Atlas Restaurant Group announces today the hiring of Michael O’Halloran as Executive Chef and Lynn Rinaldi as General Manager of Loch Bar Philadelphia, the Baltimore-based restaurant group’s long-awaited first venture into the Philadelphia market in partnership with Dranoff Properties. Scheduled to open in early October 2023 on the ground level of luxury high-rise Arthaus Condominiums at Broad and Spruce streets, Loch Bar will bring one of the largest raw bars to the city of Philadelphia alongside outstanding service from seasoned local hospitality professionals.

Introducing Executive Chef, Michael O’Halloran

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Michael O’Halloran brings over 20 years of exceptional culinary and restaurant management experience, climbing the ladder from dishwasher and busboy to Executive Chef at The White Dog Café and Stella of New Hope. O’Halloran was also the former owner and chef of Bistro 7, and notably competed and won on Food Network’s long-running series, “Beat Bobby Flay.”

“I am honored to join the vibrant team at Loch Bar Philadelphia. The talent, drive, ambition, and professionalism behind Atlas Restaurant Group is unrivaled,” begins Chef O’Halloran. “There was a time when fish houses and oyster bars dominated Philadelphia’s restaurant scene. I’m looking forward to bringing back a little bit of that traditional culture, but this time with a new-age twist. From Maryland-style crab cakes, shellfish towers, lobster rolls, and more, I can’t wait to give Philadelphians a taste of Atlas’ signature dining concept.”

Welcoming General Manager, Lynn Rinaldi

Lynn Rinaldi will join Loch Bar Philadelphia with a distinguished background in hospitality and a proven track record of delivering impeccable guest service. Rinaldi – a Philadelphia-native, veteran chef, and restaurateur – brings 20+ years of experience to Loch Bar, most notably as the General Manager of Dolce Italian and Chef-Owner at East Passyunk’s former Italian mainstay Paradiso.

“It is with great enthusiasm that I step into the role of General Manager at Loch Bar Philadelphia,” says Lynn Rinaldi. “I am committed to leading our front-of-house staff to new heights of hospitality, ensuring that locals and visitors alike feel at home at Loch Bar.”

Serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch on one of Philadelphia’s marquee corners at Broad and Spruce, Loch Bar is set to bring new vitality to Avenue of the Arts year round with over 5,000 sq. ft of space and indoor and outdoor seating for 170 guests. Open seven days a week from 11 am-12 am Sunday to Thursday and 11 am – 2 am on Friday and Saturday, guests can expect an extensive seafood-centric menu complemented by craft cocktails and local beer, plus daily live musical performances.
