On November 14, Complex, the leading platform for global culture and music lifestyle, hosted its inaugural celebrity golf Pro-Am. Presented by Michelob ULTRA and powered by Lexus, this 18-hole tournament uniquely merged golf and culture. The event brought together big names from music, sports, and entertainment, including actor Anthony Anderson, NBA star J.R. Smith, rappers ScHoolboy Q and Freddie Gibbs, radio personality Angie Martinez, athlete Joe Haden, celebrity jewelry designer Greg Yuna, and top golfers like Kurt Kitayama, Paris Hilinski, Isaiah Salinda, Nicolo Galletti, Noah Goodwin, and Steven Fisk. Teams competed for the honor of taking home the first-ever Michelob ULTRA Pro-Am Cup, which was ultimately awarded to professional skateboarder Sean Malto, NBA athlete Mike Redd, Jason Krech, and Jack Murphy.
During the afternoon, Michelob ULTRA unveiled an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with Malbon, the quintessential golf-inspired lifestyle brand. Lexus also revealed select capsule items alongside Malbon, teasing a larger collection with the lifestyle brand planned for 2025. These fashion-forward collections blend streetwear and golf culture, offering unique, co-branded items. Consumers also got to view the recently unveiled 2024 Lexus GX 550 Malbon Edition, a special one-of-a-kind project vehicle that caters to the ultimate golf foursome, which will be displayed on the green.
