Anna Woodman Interior Design to Design New Palm Beach Restaurant
Anna Woodman Interior Design, South Florida’s premiere commercial interior design firm, has been commissioned to design ‘Ara’, a new dining and nightlife experience in Jupiter, Florida.
Opening in early 2024, ‘Ara’ will serve Southern Mediterranean cuisine, perfectly paired with an extensive list of handcrafted cocktails to send diner’s taste buds on an adventure.
Owner and Operator Steven Fondu has teamed up with ‘The French Laundry’ prodigy, Executive Chef Kayla Casale, to develop a menu of unmatched culinary delights, and Woodman will design a space to perfectly compliment the cuisine and define the restaurant’s namesake.
For Fondu, ‘Ara’ has a simple meaning. In the Owner and Operator’s own words, “’Ara’ means family, and every guest will be treated as such. From the design of the space to the service and, of course, the menu, the guest experience is our top priority.” He continues, “We’re creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where guests will be so well taken care of they won’t want to leave.”
In addition to the main dining room, ‘Ara’ will invite guests to dine at the Chef’s Table for an incredible view of all the action. There will be an exquisite central bar with a bespoke ceiling feature made with gold aluminum chains, continuing the visual story of the restaurant.
“I was so inspired by the different interpretations of the name ‘Ara’,” said Woodman. “Designing a space that combines elements of both elegant royalty and the natural world has been an exciting challenge, and I can’t wait to see guests explore the space as they enjoy a night out!”

Ara is expected to open in early 2024 and will be located at 1406 Cypress Drive, Jupiter, FL 33469. The 3,760 square-foot space will seat approximately 125 people.
Woodman’s most recent projects in Palm Beach County include Stage and Ela Curry Kitchen, as well as Ela Curry & Cocktails which is set to open by December 2023. Another Palm Beach County project in the making is Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Harbourside Place. This location is now under construction and is set to open in Spring 2024.
Additionally, Woodman’s remodel of The Ravenous Pig located in Winter Park, FL is almost complete. She also recently added creative touches to the Tavistock Headquarters in Orlando.
