The Commissary Latin Kitchen by Richard Sandoval Now Open at Downtown Grand Las Vegas
Downtown dining just got even more delicious with the recent opening of Downtown Grand Las Vegas’ newest eatery – The Commissary Latin Kitchen by Richard Sandoval. Located on the first floor of Downtown Grand’s west tower, The Commissary features three different cuisine concepts, each artfully designed and deliciously crafted by Sandoval, an acclaimed chef and internationally recognized restaurateur.
Open since late December 2013, The Commissary features reclaimed wood, high back leather chairs, and a 140-seat patio, perfect for enjoying the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Here, guests can enjoy their choice of affordably priced and made-to-order Latin-inspired sandwiches (tortas), salads and soups; a selection of uniquely crafted burgers and milk shakes; and a rotisserie featuring Chef Sandoval’s mouthwatering spiced rub chicken, 12-hour smoked brisket and flavorful Mexican tacos. The Commissary also boasts a coffee bar, named Lavazza Coffee Café, featuring world-class coffee drinks, delectable crepes, warm pastries, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt-granola parfaits and a selection of artisanal gelato flavors

Growing up in Mexico City, Richard Sandoval would join his grandmother in the kitchen and gather around her large table with family to enjoy lively Mexican feasts prepared from scratch.
