Newly opened KLIMA Restaurant and Bar in Miami Beach private dinner
The newly opened KLIMA Restaurant and Bar in Miami Beach held a private dinner on Tuesday, August 11th for the coveted Roca Brothers — the world renowned culinary icons Joan, Josep and Jordi — who are today’s top ranked chefs and owners of the #1 restaurant in the world El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Catalonia, Spain.
KLIMA co-owner, and close friend of the brothers, Pablo Fernández-Valdés, welcomed the trio along with other family members and friends before the group sat down to enjoy an especially created menu by KLIMA’s Executive Chef, David “Rusti” Rustarazo.
The group enjoyed the following dishes:
- Fennel carpaccio, burrata, kalamata & sundried tomato
- Tempura King Crab with mustard
- Hake Kokotxas in green sauce, chickpea and egg yolk
- Wild boar, potato parmentier, garlic and sweet onion
- American Red Snapper with lobster suquet
- Squab
- White chocolate sponge cake, macadamia, orange, yogurt ice-cream and raspberry ice-cream
About The Roca Brothers
El Celler de Can Roca is a restaurant in Girona, Catalonia, Spain which was opened in 1986 by the Roca brothers, Joan, Josep and Jordi. It was first located next to their parent’s restaurant Can Roca, but moved to its current purpose built building in 2007. It has been received warmly by critics, and holds three Michelin stars. In 2013, it was named the best restaurant in the world by the magazine Restaurant, after having been ranked second in 2011 and 2012. In 2014, it was named second best restaurant in the world. In 2015, it was once again named the best restaurant in the world by the magazine Restaurant.
