ALEXANDRA RESORT APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER, ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER AND EXECUTIVE CHEF

Alexandra Resort, the all-inclusive resort occupying 600 feet of frontage on world acclaimed Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, announces the appointment of three new additions to its leadership team, welcoming Aleisa Musgrove-Walkin as General Manager, Hermian Griffith as Assistant General Manager and Sovan Das as Executive Chef. These appointments come at an exciting time for the resort, which is currently undergoing an expansive renovation of its guest rooms, lobby, Sand Piper Kids Club and Elevate Spa.

Alexandra Resort’s new General Manager, Aleisa Musgrove-Walkin, brings over 16 years of hospitality leadership experience to Alexandra Resort. In her new role, Musgrove-Walkin oversees the resort’s operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, driving revenue and raising the resort’s brand presence on both Turks and Caicos Islands and beyond. Musgrove-Walkin sits on the Board of Directors for the Turks and Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association and received the association’s prestigious Hotelier of the Year award in 2018.

 

Hermian Griffith, Alexandra Resort’s new Assistant General Manager, boasts more than 15 years of experience in senior leadership hospitality roles. Griffith works alongside Musgrove-Walkin to direct all aspects of resort operations. With a strong understanding of the Caribbean market, operational demand and guest relations, Griffith has a deep passion for the hospitality industry and is devoted to exceeding both guest expectations and ensuring continued staff satisfaction.

 

Executive Chef Sovan Das brings more than two decades of cross-functional experience in culinary roles around the world to Alexandra Resort. A passionate leader, who values human relationships and expanding his culinary expertise, Executive Chef Das oversees Alexandra Resort’s 12 dining concepts, ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, driving revenue and continuing to elevate the all-inclusive resort’s culinary offerings. He has been a member and judge of the World’s Chef Society since 2019.

 

Alexandra Resort will reopen on October 16, 2024.
