Bottlenotes 6th annual Around the World in 80 Sips wine tasting event, giving local wine enthusiasts the opportunity to stay local while drinking global. It’s become one of the most popular wine events in San Francisco, with a live DJ, beautiful views of the bay.
Taste 80+ great wines from around the world from wine regions that include California, France, Italy, New Zealand, and more. Bottlenotes is known for producing extremely successful 80 Sips events nationwide in flagship markets San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, and additional markets San Diego, Seattle, Houston, Austin, Miami, The Hamptons, Washington D.C., Nashville, Boston and Denver. Each event attracts hundreds of passionate, young wine enthusiasts from novice to expert. San Francisco attendees will also be able to access the event’s mobile wine list and share the wines that they taste via the Crushed iPhone app. VIP attendees have an hour to taste without the crowd, plus all-night access to the Wine Sisterhood “oasis” with food, a photo booth and special wines.
THE SHERRY SUITE
“The Sherry Suite” by Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits offers a rare opportunity to try some of the world’s top wines in one place. From 6:30-9:30 pm the wines will include but not be limited to Tignanello, Roederer Cristal Champagne, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Bollinger, Pichon-Longueville-Lalande, Domaine Ott “Chateau Romassan”, Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne, Baron de Ladoucette “Baron de L”, Chateau Montelena Estate Cabernet, Stag’s Leap Fay, and Dominus.
Wines will be accompanied by hot and cold hors d’oeuvres not available in the general tasting. The Sherry Suite also offers seating and a goody bag for the 50 participants.

The inaugural “The Best of the West” wine seminar takes place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and is limited to 50 people. Wines from Crimson’s portfolio will be featured.
