When asked to create statement pieces to enhance the Asian influenced restaurant décor, 2nd Ave Lighting manufactured stunning custom pendants and chandeliers for the Mystique Asian Restaurant and Lounge at Encore Boston Harbor. Mystique is the property of New England’s preeminent hospitality group, Big Night Entertainment Group, and the flagship dining destination located on the main esplanade of Encore Boston Harbor, a five-star waterfront resort. To illuminate the lounge area, large oblong pendants were designed with a unique Asian influenced geometric design to complement the interior décor. The fixtures deliver beautiful ambient lighting and are installed above the bar, island and throughout the space. The luminaires were manufactured with Off-White Textrene diffusers that are enhanced with hardware in a Brushed Brass finish.
Massive rectangular shaped chandeliers over dining tables feature a gorgeous Beige Marblesque Idalight designs. Enhanced with a Brushed Brass finish, the chandeliers provide beautiful decorative ambient illumination and enhance the décor with style and drama.
Mystique features a 16,400 square foot dining room and lounge with panoramic windows that look out onto the Mystic River. Named for both its alluring design and waterfront location, guests will be transported on a mystical journey through Asia upon entering Mystique. Designed by award-winning designer Peter Niemitz, Mystique features luxurious finishes and rich textures throughout the open dining room with seating for over 450 guests. The space boasts an expansive stone bar with seating for 28, plush lounge seating, a sushi counter, and a glamourous open kitchen with a captivating robata grill. Throughout the restaurant and lounge are one-of-a-kind Asian-inspired décor curated from around the world.
