2023 BAR & RESTAURANT EXPO CONCLUDES ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR AT DAY 3 OF THE EXPO

Bar & Restaurant Expo, the nation’s largest and most influential gathering of bar and restaurant owners, concluded the 37th annual showcase with an exciting day 3. The expo’s final day was kicked off by a dual keynote speech by Susan Fedroff, co-owner of Clover Club, Leyenda and Milady’s, and Jackie Summers, the founder of Jack From Brooklyn Inc and creator of Sorel Liqueur, where they discussed essential lessons learned from mistakes they’ve made.

On the expo floor, attendees were treated to exciting live demos by popular chefs like Tori Lubecki, Larissa DaCosta, Barry Sexton and more. Each chef made a delicious dish for guests to sample like Asian-style BBQ mushroom sliders, Furikake loaded fries and beef & wild shroom “stroganoff.”

 

Guests were also invited to explore the expo floor’s many highlights, including the inaugural Japanese Food & Beverage Showcase, presenting an exciting mix of Japanese products, flavors and globally renowned specialties, The Restaurant Zone, the 15,000 square-foot area dedicated just to restaurant equipment, food and solutions for guest experience, and the all-new No Alc Chill Zone, showcasing what’s new in the fast-growing industry of nonalcoholic beverages.

 

Bar & Restaurant Expo capped off a stellar year with the 2023 Industry Excellence Awards ceremony. These awards were designed to recognize, celebrate, and support the people who make the independent bar and restaurant industry great. The prestigious awards, which included categories like community leadership, bartender of the year, best hospitality training program, and more, were presented by celebrity mixologist, Mia Mastroianni.
